From Lisbon in 2017 to London in 2026, Shah Eye Care’s journey with the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) has continued across some of Europe’s leading cities for ophthalmology.
What began with our first participation in Lisbon in 2017 has grown into eight ESCRS participations, giving us the opportunity to meet ophthalmologists, distributors, healthcare professionals, medical-device companies and industry partners from around the world.
For Shah Eye Care, every ESCRS has been more than an exhibition. Each participation has been an opportunity to build relationships, understand market requirements, exchange perspectives and explore new possibilities for collaboration.
And now, our journey continues to London in 2026.
Our ESCRS Journey: From Lisbon to London
2017 – Lisbon, Portugal
Our ESCRS journey began in Lisbon, Portugal, in 2017.
It was the first step in our participation at one of the world’s leading ophthalmic congresses and the beginning of our engagement with the wider European and international ophthalmic community.
2018 – Vienna, Austria
In 2018, we continued our ESCRS journey in Vienna, strengthening our engagement with ophthalmic professionals and beginning to build relationships across different international markets.
Our third participation took us to Paris, France, where we continued meeting ophthalmologists, distributors and industry professionals and expanding our international network.
After a short break due to the pandemic crisis, we returned to ESCRS in Milan in 2022.
Our return marked the continuation of our international engagement and provided another opportunity to reconnect with existing partners while meeting new contacts from across the ophthalmic industry.
In 2023, we returned to Vienna for another ESCRS participation.
With an expanding international presence, the event provided an opportunity to strengthen existing relationships and establish new connections with professionals from different markets.
Our journey continued in Barcelona in 2024.
Once again, ESCRS brought together the global ophthalmic community, creating valuable opportunities for conversations around products, market requirements, distribution and potential partnerships.
In 2025, we participated in ESCRS in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Our continued presence at ESCRS reflects Shah Eye Care’s commitment to engaging with the international ophthalmic community and developing long-term relationships across global markets.
And now, London is next.
In 2026, Shah Eye Care will participate in ESCRS at ExCeL London, marking our 8th participation at ESCRS.
From Lisbon to London, each city has added another chapter to our journey.

Over these eight participations, our ESCRS journey has been shaped by the people we have met, the conversations we have had and the relationships we have built.
Today, Shah Eye Care’s ophthalmic medical devices reach 80+ countries across the globe, and our participation at international platforms such as ESCRS continues to support our efforts to build stronger relationships with customers and partners worldwide.
Our focus has also expanded beyond showcasing products. We engage with potential partners to understand their requirements and explore opportunities across distribution, OEM, OBL and contract manufacturing of ophthalmic medical devices.

Our MDR Certified ACUCUT and ACUCUT SAFETY ophthalmic microsurgical knives are manufactured with a focus on precision, consistency and controlled blade production.
The portfolio incorporates our evolving electro-etching technology, supporting consistent blade geometry and surface quality across production.
ACUFLOW Bimanual & Coaxial I/A Handpieces
We will also showcase our MDR Certified ACUFLOW Bimanual and Coaxial Irrigation & Aspiration Handpieces, designed to support efficient fluid management and controlled handling during ophthalmic procedures.
Visitors will have the opportunity to see these products up close and discuss their applications and potential market opportunities with our team.
